Materials: Teacher made vocabulary cards, headbands for students, timer
Activity/Procedure: Teacher makes the vocabulary words ahead of time. Place these cards face down. Place students in groups of 4. First student picks a card and places it on their forehead for the group to see. One student in the group has 30 secs to act out the word on the headband without speaking or props. Decides who goes next either by a dice or volunteer. If the headband player can not guess the word before the timer is play moves to the next player to the left, if the headbandz player guess the word he /she wins a point.
Differentiate Options: This game can be modified to use letters, shape and numbers. It can also be modified from not talking to the headband player asking yes or no question about the unknown word to make an informed guess.
